This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all use of AuPairsy.
1. General rule
Use AuPairsy only for lawful, honest, safe, and respectful au pair / host-family matching.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not use AuPairsy to create, upload, send, request, facilitate, or promote:
Illegal activity
- illegal work arrangements;
- visa or immigration fraud;
- tax evasion;
- fake documents;
- money laundering;
- bribery;
- unlawful recruitment;
- illegal childcare arrangements;
- illegal discrimination.
Exploitation and trafficking
- forced labour;
- debt bondage;
- recruitment fees that are unlawful in the relevant country;
- coercive travel or work arrangements;
- withholding passports or identity documents;
- restricting freedom of movement;
- threats, intimidation, or retaliation;
- sexual exploitation;
- exploitative working hours, pay, housing, or tasks.
Minor safety violations
- sexualised content involving minors;
- grooming;
- requests for private contact with children;
- publishing children’s full names, school, exact location, or daily routine;
- encouraging unsafe childcare.
Harassment and abuse
- threats;
- stalking;
- hate speech;
- bullying;
- sexual harassment;
- repeated unwanted contact;
- publishing private information.
Fraud and platform abuse
- fake profiles;
- impersonation;
- phishing;
- scams;
- spam;
- fake reviews;
- scraping;
- automated account creation;
- selling accounts;
- manipulating ranking or reports.
Unsafe or misleading advice
- legal, visa, employment, medical, childcare, or safety advice presented as professional advice without qualification;
- claims that AuPairsy guarantees visas, employment, safety, or government approval.
3. Off-platform conduct
AuPairsy may act on off-platform conduct when it creates risk to Users, the Service, or the public, including fraud, threats, exploitation, harassment, or illegal arrangements connected to AuPairsy.
4. Enforcement
AuPairsy may:
- warn Users;
- remove content;
- restrict messaging;
- demote profiles;
- remove badges;
- suspend accounts;
- terminate accounts;
- block payments;
- preserve evidence;
- report to authorities.
5. Appeals
Where required or offered, Users may appeal moderation decisions through the process described in the DSA Notice and Action Policy.
6. Reporting
Report violations through the in-product report tools or dsa@aupairsy.com.
